Bhutan King’s Cup 2013 kicks off tomorrow

The King’s Cup 2013 will kick off tomorrow at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu. Bhutan’s Yeedzin FC will face Brothers Union of Bangladesh at 4 pm.

Nine teams from Bhutan, Nepal, India and Bangladesh are participating in the July 20 to August 10 international tournament.

MohunBagan AC and and I-League relegated United Sikkim FC will represent India.

Yeedzin FC (Bhutan), Brothers Union (Bangladesh), MohunBagan FC (India), LHM Manang Club (Nepal) and NMB Machhindra (Nepal) will play the Group A matches.

Group B has four teams – Laxmi Bank Three Star (Nepal), United Sikkim FC (India), Team BJMC (Bangladesh) and Thimphu City FC (Bhutan).

Woezer Events and Bhutan Football Federation are organising the tournament.
