National Institute of Traditional Medicine’s (NITM) boys’ football team returned with a fair play trophy from the inter-college football tournament held at Paro College of Education (PCE) from July 14 to 24.
Fifteen teams participated in the second RUSFoB championship tournament.
In the boys’ category, Royal Thimphu College won the tournament. Gaeddu College of Business Studies (GCBS) came second. Among the girls’ teams, Sherubtse College won the tournament and PCE came second.
Institute of Language and Cultural Studies took home a fair play trophy for exhibiting the best behaviour.
Sangay Thinley, NITM’s team captain, said that although the team could not win the tournament, “we played fair and enjoyed every game.”
