Bhutan will join the International Community in celebrating the 11th International Anti-corruption Day (IACD) on December 9. December 10 to 16 will be observed as the National Anti-corruption Week in Bhutan.
To mark the day, Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) will conduct awareness and advocate programme in 42 gewogs of eight dzongkhags that will involve dzongkhag and local government officials, public and business community.
IACD 2013 will continue its effort in advocating the general public on the collective responsibility towards combating corruption.
To mark the week, ACC will also organise inter-school debate competition in the capital on the topic “Present generation uploads better values than the earlier generation”.
