Bhutan and India meet to enhance trade

A bilateral meeting between Bhutan and India on Trade and Transit was held in Thimphu today.

The meeting is expected to enhance trade and further facilitate smooth and free-flow of trade between the two countries.

The MoEA Secretary Dasho Sonam Tshering led the Bhutanese delegation while the India side was led by secretary of India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s Secretary, S R Roa.

The last bilateral meeting was held in August 2011 in Delhi, India.
